SNAP: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for Students Starting in 2021, more students are eligible to receive SNAP including:

• students enrolled less than half-time in a higher education institution
• students that are eligible to participate in state or federally financed work study during the regular school year
• have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of 0 in the current academic year. Students receive an EFC after applying for financial aid.
